American Spirit

This tutorial will guide you through the process of setting up American Spirit as a payment gateway in Captira. Follow the steps below to configure the necessary settings and start processing payments.

Step 1: Access Payment Gateway Settings

1. Navigate to Payment Gateway Settings Page:

   • Log in to your Captira account.
   • From the main dashboard, locate and click on System Manager in the navigation menu and select the Dropdown Lists option.

   • In the Dropdown Lists page select Payment Gateways

Step 2: Add a New Payment Gateway

1. Add a New Gateway:
   • In the Payment Gateways section, click on the option to Add New Payment Gateway
2. Select Gateway Type:
   • A popup to add a new Gateway will appear. Select American Spirit in the dropdown

Step 3: Obtain Security Keys from American Spirit

1. Log in to American Spirit:

   • Open a new browser tab and navigate to the American Spirit website.
   • Log in using your credentials.

2. Access Security Keys:

   • Once logged in, go to the top navigation bar and click on My Settings.
   • From the dropdown, select Security Keys.

1. Copy Security Keys:

   • On the Security Keys page, locate both the Public Security Key and the Private Security Key.
   • Copy these keys to your clipboard, ensuring you have both the public and private keys ready.

Step 4: Configure Captira with Security Keys

1. Paste Security Keys in Captira:

   • Return to the Captira browser tab where you were adding the new payment gateway.
   • In the corresponding fields, paste the Public Security Key and Private Security Key that you copied from the American Spirit website.

2. Save the Configuration:

   • Double-check the keys to ensure they are correctly entered.
   • Click Save or Submit to complete the setup of the payment gateway.

Step 5: Start Processing Payments

• With American Spirit now set up as a payment gateway, you can begin processing payments through Captira using this gateway.

By following these steps, you have successfully integrated American Spirit as a payment gateway within Captira. You can now process payments securely and efficiently using the provided security keys.

1. Navigate to System Manager > Dropdown Lists and select Payment Gateways.
2. Add a new Payment Gateway and select American Spirit as the Gateway Type.
3. This requires a Private and Public Security Key which can be found in the American Spirit website
4. When logged into the ASP website from the top navigation select My Settings > Security Keys
5. Now copy the Public and Private security Key and paste into Captira under the corresponding fields.
6. Now start processing payments with American Spirit.
